Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Los Angeles with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Zion Market at (213) 302-3792; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is zionmarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 1,974 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for asian grocery stores in Los Angeles. Recent reviews are the best guide.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

On March 11, 2026, I purchased two Labubo sweets at this store. They were displayed on a standard shelf located near the checkout counter. The very next day, my daughter opened the packaging and discovered mold inside. Two days laterβthat is, on the third dayβI returned the items to the store, expecting to receive an apology and a refund. As proof of purchase, I presented my loyalty card (I have been a customer of this store for five yearsβever since it was still located on Vermont Avenue) and showed the transaction record on my phone screen. At first, the manager refused to speak to me at all; she then claimed that the product should have been kept in a refrigeratorβeven though it was not sold from a refrigerated display case, and no such instructions were printed on the packaging. Ultimately, however, she agreed to refund the cost of only one of the sweets. Although I am a pensioner, I decided not to stoop to her level; I simply told her that such behavior is not only unlawful but also unethical. I would like to address the management of Zion Store directly: such treatment of customers is a disgrace! I will never shop at your store again, and I intend to tell everyone I know that

My favorite supermarket in Ktown with fresh produce at great price! They always have promotion for fresh fruit. Even better, an additional 5% discount when shopping after 8pm and less crowded. Easy parking structure with 1st hour free.

Wow I'm impressed this market is full of good things. This is the third time that I come and everything is fresh. Last time I got a box of strawberries for a$ buck. Today I went and surprise I bought a bag of Ceasar salad for a buck ,can't beat that price. I had bought this same salad at costco for more that $6.00. I bag of salad is good for 2 people.

Newly growing Korean supermarket located in the heart of Koreatown. Lots of your typical Korean specialty products along with the standard selection of supermarket products. There are also ready meals that just require reheating as well as fun snacks and desserts that may be a appealing. There are some shared retail spaces slowly developing alongside this market. There is a parking garage alongside this store but Iβm unsure about the rates or discounts. Itβs a mixed use building and the upper floors are housing units.

They relocated to a new location and they have been soft opening since 08/22/2024 (you have to enter from the parking lot, I don't think you can enter from the street yet.) They said that the official opening will be in a month. Those people complained about spoiled food ... when you buy discounted or special sale price items you need to really pay attention to the quality of their freshness. Don't just grab it because it was a low price. The prices at Zion are lower compared to H Mart.
